Symposium Invitation Design

The Challenge

Dowden Health Media wanted to attract physician specialists to a symposium featuring speakers and workshops on a new high-tech treatment called capsule endoscopy, which gives doctors a bird's-eye view inside the body using tiny, camera-outfitted capsules.

The Solution

Because of the unique nature of the technology, we chose to show the capsule in use through illustration on the invitation. This called for commissioning and art directing an illustrator. We used the device company's colors and gave the piece a clean and refined look that would be attractive to the physician audience.
